Achieve weight loss goals with Nutrisystem

By Heather

This is a sponsored post written on behalf of Nutrisystem.

I have been on my fair share of diet plans which have had varying degrees of success. Some require you to exclude certain food groups while others have you count calories or work in a daily fitness routine. In my experience, the less complicated the plan, the easier it is to be successful. This rings true for so many things, but especially for weight loss. If there’s too much planning or prep work involved in order to stay on track, I find it more difficult to stick with it and in turn I fall back into old habits, gain weight and end up right back at square one.

I was on Nutrisystem as part of their Nutrisystem Nation blogger program back in 2011. I ended up losing about ten pounds which was absolutely thrilling. I attribute the success of this program to the fact that all of the prep work and planning is already done for you.

Nutrisystem sent all of my meals and supplies directly to my doorstop, ready to heat and eat. My favorites were the frozen omelets, fajita melts and the BBQ Sauce over Beef, Beans and Rice. Their desserts were equally delicious – especially the ice cream sandwiches and the thin mint bar. The newest Nutrisystem meals look even more delicious!

It was nice not having to break out the pots and pans as most of the food was microwavable. The program requires you to add other foods from your fridge, fruit basket and pantry so you’re not just eating from the “big brown box” that Nutrisystem sends you. This kept the plan from being boring and monotonous.

I would have loved to have kept going on this program because it was so easy and the food delicious, but then I became pregnant and stopped. Now that I’m done having children, I would love to get back on the program.

Have you resolved to get healthy this year?

I am on the weight loss journey. I have never thought about Nutri-system as a diet plan, but I do have to say the meals look pretty good. I might have to give them a try.

I’m going to look into Nutrisystem. In the last few months, I stopped caring about my healthy and weight. Now it’s catching up to me!
