Light Bladder Leakage is a problem affecting so many women; 1 in 3 women to be exact,. After being pregnant twice, my bladder isn’t as solid as it used to be. Soon after giving birth to Ryan, I finally visited my local pharmacy and picked up Poise pads. What a difference the right pad makes.
The Poise® Thin-Shape pads absorb leaks well and keep you dry, unlike with maxi pads. After trying them out, I learned quickly why the two products shouldn’t be used interchangeably.
Since those period pads are now useless, I had to find something new to do with them. While they aren’t a very practical solution for LBL, maxi pads make excellent makeshift kneepads.
We are now entering the season of outdoor activities like skating, bicycling, and good old fashioned hide and seek. With all of the fun to be had, there are bound to be some scraped knees around here, so why not help protect those little elbows and knees? And yes, we own actual kneepads; I’m having a little fun with this campaign. ;)
Emma got a kick out of my idea, but heck, these things aren’t too shabby. They work pretty darn well when you’re in a pinch or want some extra protection. Against cuts and bruises that is. Just use the maxi pad as a wrap and secure with an elastic band, and vióla!
I think I may just do this myself while cleaning out my gardening bed.
I’ve never really thought about this. I guess I could use them to clean up spills and messes around the house.
Those knee pads are funny! I honestly can’t think of another use for pads. Cleaning maybe?
That is a funny idea! I don’t know what I would make mine into.
When I was pregnant with my first child, I had an accident once. It can happen to anybody really. Thanks for bringing light to this.
This is very creative. I have never considered using them other than the regular way.
OMG that is awesome! I’m not sure my husband would find this as funny but I love it!
OMG I just died laughing. This is epic
Now that is an idea. Would not have thought of that.
That is a clever idea to hide these away!
