There are times when I don’t feel like lugging my purse around, or even worse – a backpack or diaper bag. My bag tends to become a sort of catch-all for everything we might need on any given day, and it gets heavy and cumbersome. Sometimes you just want to be free from all of that weight too, right?
It’s a liberating feeling to ditch that heavy old bag. When we’re spending the day at a theme park or on the boardwalk, I can actually enjoy the day without suffering from shoulder pain. With that said, there are always a few things that I do need to have with me at all times. Here are the five things that I must have and they will all fit in your pocket.
Lip gloss. No matter what time of year it is, my lips always seem to be peeling. I can walk around all day long without a stitch of makeup, but I need something to keep my lips moisturized and shiny.
Hair tie. My hair is long and more often than not, it’s up. Especially in summer when it’s hot outside, but mostly because I am too lazy or too busy to blow it out. Hair ties are a necessity.
Cell phone. How did we ever live without these things? And I’ll take it a step further; how did we get by without smart phones. They make communication and fact-finding easy. Can’t live without it.
Credit card. Because there will always be things we see and need. Sometimes we really need things like bandages and water, and then there are other needs like that cool t-shirt.
TAMPAX Pocket Pearl. I just discovered these beauties at Target the other day. They were right on the endcap and on sale. I can’t use that teeny tiny tampons, so I love that these are pocket size while still being full size pearl tampons. How did they do it? The applicator is extendable!

I used to use this brand, so I would have loved the pocket sized. If they ever go full cotton and no chemicals I’ll be back because I loved the applicators better than any brand
Tampax Pearl is my favorite brand, even though I haven’t really used it them in 3 years thankfully.
I like the funky, cute colors. Even useful everyday necessities can be packaged in a fun way. :)
