I couldn’t bring myself to buy one of those pre-packaged classroom valentines while shopping in a department store the other day. We can do better than that, can’t we?
Well…sometimes the answer is no, and that’s okay too, but when you’ve got a tad bit of time and effort you can help your child spread the love this month. The ideas below are all fairly fuss-free. They shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes to make and they’re much more personal than the store-bought variety.

My kids would get a kick out of the Olaf one! I’m always amazed at the creativity I can find on the web.
The Olaf is my fav, and what we would be doing if we were allowed to send candy in :(
These are so adorable. I am in love with the goldfish one! I wish my kids still handed out valentines. : (
These are so cute! This was always my favorite holiday party when I went to school as a kid and one I usually volunteered for when my kids were in school. It’s been a long time!
There are some really cute printables here for the kids to share. I wish I had a grandchild old enough for these, they are adorable.
We were at the pharmacy today and saw some cute valentines day cards the ones where kids can write notes to each other. I totally like this idea way better. I’m also not a fan of the printed valentines day cards in the boxes. I am looking forward to valentines this year. We have money to be able to make some nicer looking valentines cards and I think that’s what we are going to do. I’m all hooked up with a Hp printer and everything so I’m looking forward to printing some of your printable thank you for sharing.
I love the little create an Olaf valentine. I also really like the Star Wars printables.
These puns are so cute. I like the sucker turned into a super hero.
I like the crayon heart idea. We can’t send candy in with our kids, so I need alternatives.
Thanks so much for sharing my Sports Valentine Printables and my Great Catch Printable! :-) LOVE your blog name!
