$10 Walmart Gift Card with Purchase of Energizer Max Batteries

By Heather

Other than the holidays, we also have my baby girl’s fifth birthday coming up and our battery supply was low. Any good parent knows that when there are new toys being opened, one must have batteries handy. There’s nothing sadder than seeing your kid’s dreams crushed when they realize they’re going to have to wait to play with that new toy they just opened!

This new promotion at Walmart came at the perfect time! In honor of the Energizer Bunny’s 25th birthday, when you purchase of two or more packages of specially marked Energizer Max batteries, you will receive a $10 Walmart gift card!

Things have been moving around at my local Walmart due to recent renovations so I wasn’t quite sure where I’d be able to find the batteries. When we entered the store we walked straight to the back to the electronics department, which is also located directly next to the toy department so in my head it made perfect sense. Luckily, there was a Walmart employee there who directed me to a stand located in the middle of the aisle. Perfect placement.

I picked up two packages of AA batteries. It’s amazing how quickly we use them up around here. Each 8-pack was only $6..37, so with the gift card my net cost for 16 batteries was only about 3 dollars.

I can’t wait to get my Walmart gift card, because we are always shopping there! We will probably spend in toys for somebody’s birthday!

Another good thing about Energizer is the packages are harder to open. Which means little hands can’t get them open.

Hope we are not too late. My husband is the ultimate battery hoarder. We laugh…until Christmas when everyone needs them and begs for mercy!!!

In this day and age of wifi it surprises me that so many toys and gadgets still require batteries! Thanks for the heads-up!

This is a great incentive and you just reminded me to get some more batteries! I’m running low and I’m sure some of the toys I get for Christmas gifts this year will require them!
