Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! Get the Sillies Out! Concert Review

Friday was the Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! Get the Sillies Out! concert at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby, PA.  Friday was also a winter storm in the Philadelphia area.  Apparently snowfall plus rush hour traffic meant an extra long trip to the concert!  Even with the added stress of getting there on time (with a newly potty-training child), Caroline was so excited and waiting anxiously to see Yo Gabba Gabba!  And it was clearly worth the wait – she LOVED the show and immediately began jammin’ away as soon we got to our seats.

They played all of the classic Yo Gabba Gabba! songs, including: “There’s a Party in my Tummy”:

and “I Love Bugs”:

The crowd loved singing and dancing to all their songs. I’m sure all the moms and dads that were out there would agree that the best part of the show was the appearance by Biz Markie, when he did “Biz’s Beat of the Day” and sang “Just a Friend” to a very excited audience:

This was a great show.  Lively, colorful and true to the television show.  I just wish they did the performance for more than one night in our area because we would be there each night for sure!

Can’t wait for the next Yo Gabba Gabba! show!

  1. Oh my son would just love this concert! What a fun thing to attend with your little ones.

  2. We went to Yo Gabba Gabba live a few years back. It was fun and my boys really liked it.

  3. we got to attend a show too. My children loved it. The loud music did frighten my 1 1/2 year old a bit, but not enough to stop him from dancing and having a good time

  4. I just can’t imagine a child who wouldn’t absolutely LOVE that show!

  5. You got some great pics! Caroline looks so joyful.
