I’m always forgetting to bring my reusable totes to the supermarket. Maybe subconsciously, I’m doing this on purpose. It sounds terrible to say, but at least the store’s plastic bags can be tied at the top so that the contents don’t spill all over the place in the back of my car. I know they’re bad for the environment, but my options are few if I don’t want a mess.
When ADK Packworks emailed me about the Grocer, I knew I had to have it. The Grocer is a reusable bag with a frame so that it stands upright. I would love it even if it didn’t fold, but it does. You truly get the best of both worlds here; it’s easy to store in the back of your car and it is sturdy enough to stand up without spilling.
Not only can you use it as a tote, the Grocer can also be worn as a backpack thanks to the loops provided at the base of the bag. There are even accessories that you can purchase like a cover for the top and a cooler that fits inside.
The only downside is the cost of this bag. At $25 for one bag, you definitely get what you pay for but I need about five more to do my food shopping. This might even go on my list for Santa this December. Right now I’m using it as a catch all bag for all of the paperwork and things that my husband leaves on the kitchen island.
One lucky reader will win their very own Grocer!
