Along with the yummy Chocolate Pumpkin Cheesecake I brought to my sister-in-law’s house on Thanksgiving, I brought a yummy appetizer for everyone to enjoy. Ever since I picked up the package of SeaPak Spring Rolls from Walmart I’d been drooling over it in my freezer and when Thanksgiving day came, I felt like being extra generous. After all, Holiday Appetizers are usually the best part of the meal. :)
With the all important turkey in it’s place in her only oven, we decided to try the toaster oven and it was a perfect fit. All 16 rolls fit on the tray, which we lined with foil. The package also comes with a delicious dipping sauce, which was easily warmed in a hot bowl of water.
I chose a seafood themed platter for our appetizer, since the spring rolls do contain shrimp. Let me tell you – they were a HUGE hit! Even the kids enjoyed them. They are golden and crunchy and filled with yummy veggies and shrimp. I’m so happy I brought them, but since they were gone in less than a minute I wished I brought more.
Even the pickiest eater ever enjoyed munching on these yummy spring rolls. So glad I discovered them, because I will be picking up more the next time I’m at Walmart. Ladies Home Journal and The Today Show agree.
If you’d like to try them, there will be demos at Walmart stores on December 8th between 1pm and 5pm. Visit the Seapak facebook page for Dinner Party Recipes and more.
