We live an hour from Atlantic City, which many New Jerseyans like to call the Las Vegas of the East Coast. And with newer, more lavish casinos like The Borgata and now Revel, it’s starting to feel much more like Las Vegas than ever. If you’re planning a night out on the town complete with dinner, drinks and gambling, I’ll place my bet that this is the city where you’ll find yourself.
What I find so funny to see in casino hallways is those computerized poker games that people will plop in front of as if it were a slot machine. If I was going to play one of those games, I’d much rather be sitting in my my family room dressed in my jammies on my own computer than standing in a stuffy casino with no windows and breathing in second-hand cigarette smoke. You?
I’m not a big gambler, because I get too mad when I lose but when I do gamble, it only means going as far as a slot machine or a few minutes playing roulette. Games like poker are definitely intimidating, especially seeing as how players can drop (and lose) thousands of dollars in a matter of minutes. If I were interested in playing poker, I’d definitely give it a go online before I try it out in front of real live people in a crowded casino floor. I find it much less intimidating playing in the virtual realm for practice first. Apparently many others agree, since according to wikipedia, poker playing has grown into a much more widely played game thanks to online gaming.
As many of my readers would agree, it is so much more convenient to visit places like PartyBingo.com when you’re a parent and have a hard time getting out. We definitely tend to have more nights in than out at this stage in our lives.

I’ve never played casino games online. My hubby likes to hit the casino every now and then, so a couple of times a year we head to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun down in CT.
I like online gaming, but I do believe you have to be careful just as dangerous as the casino.
I met a lady in a waiting room at the dealership once and this is all she does!
