How many adorable photo Christmas cards do you receive each year? Opening these personalized cards is a special treat, and it’s especially more meaningful when they’re from those who live far away.  It’s nice to be able to see their smiling faces and take note of the changes in them since the same time last year. How to hard-boil your Easter eggs in three easy steps

Normally, I make a decent hard-boiled egg doing it the way my mother taught me.  But since we’re dying our Easter eggs tonight, I did some research on the best method.  Here’s how it’s done. Step 1: Set raw eggs in a pan and cover with cold water.  Over medium heat, slowly bring the water to a boil. Step 2: Immediately cover and remove from heat.  Let sit for about 10 minutes. How to freeze garden fresh basil

When I planted my basil and tomatoes in the Spring, I imagined the tomato salad I’d make in the summer: Unfortunately this year my tomato crops were sabotaged, and I only had a few small fruits to pick from the plant.  As for the basil, I had the opposite problem.  That fragrant plant grew like a wildfire.  I hate to waste food, and I couldn’t just sit here and watch it die.
